Ahhh... random postings. We are still here. Doing that everyday kind of thing. We've been to a pig roast. This is an annual outting for us. This kids have such a good time running everywhere. It's like they own the place. (good thing that it is outdoors) And SO MUCH good food!! Obviously, we enjoy it as well!
We have started back with dance class and tumbling. Kiddos decided that they were done with gymnastics and wanted to go back to their previous classes. And I was quite fine with this. Not only does it take up less time (I was able to get their classes back to back, so this is a breeze!), but it does not cost nearly as much. They will have their recital in June at the high school. It is a "big to-do" and they love it.
Girl Scout meetings have begun. They have already planned a camping trip. It will be a one night trip. I think that Jess would have started packing her bag if I let her.
This past weekend we participated in a parade celebrating our town. We "marched" with our dance/tumble studio. Our kids carried the banner for at least half of the parade. And tossed candy to the people lined up on the street. What started as a chilly morning really shaped up into a very pretty day. We had lunch out afterwards. Then a bit of tidying up in the yard.
Then...... I had a night with the girls! Sandy had a Homemade Gourmet get together. I, in turn, invited Tina to come along. Not only were all the dishes that Sandy made delicious, it was so much fun just hanging out with the girls! Nevermind that it was a wee bit (a lot) late when I finally got home.
Kids are looking forward to decorating for fall/Halloween. We did get the scarecrows out, but that was it. Convincing them to wait until it was at least October wasn't all that easy.
It will be a full weekend coming up. A baby shower for my SIL Rachel. Isn't baby stuff just the cutest?! And Sunday we (and by "we" that means daddy and I) have tickets for the Colts game. Ahh... football. I love it!
Oh and that reminds me! We took the kids a couple of weeks ago to a high school game. We lost. But it was all about going to the game. And we had fun.

Hey I read your post! I just don't always comment! I love to see the pic. of the kids and hear all the stuff you all do as a family. I think it is grate and if more familys did things together and showed as much love as you all do there wouldn't be so many messed up kids. You just keep doing what you do every day and we will be here cheering you on!
I will see you at the baby shower, love you all! Grate Aunt Rachel
