Wow! Time flies when you are having fun...Today marks the three year anniversary of my NOT working. There are times that I can't believe how long it has been. But all I have to do is look at the kids. My little girl was 3 1/2 and now is a FIRST GRADER. And my baby boy is definately not a baby! He is now 3 1/2. There have been days...I would have to wonder what in the world was I thinking?!? But when I think of all the things I would have missed (again). All those FIRSTS, lots of hugs and kisses, cuddling on the couch for cartoons, and reading stories. And not having to juggle time off for doctor/dentist appointments. So, Happy SAHM Anniversary to me!

Friday Night Lights
So Friday night we went driving around to look at Christmas lights. We do this every year and the kids love it! We started out by going to Ellis Park in Danville. You pay by the carload and can drive thru as many times as you want. We usually go around at least 2-3 times. On the way out, we realized that we have NEVER brought our camera on one of these trips...I think that we are losing our touch! Anyway, driving around here and there looking for lights and Jess wants to know- "mommy what do the Angels do at Christmastime?" I am trying to figure in what sense she means and B pipes up. (remember he is 3 1/2) "I know what the Angels do!"
(your gonna love this)
"They make SNOW Angels!!"
So of course, the serious moment was lost as we all crack up laughing!

Visit With Santa
We made our trip to see Santa last week. The Wonderland at Metropolis is so cool. Lots of over-the-top toys for the kiddo to play with while waiting for their turn to see Santa. Luckily, we were able to get a "free" time. I'm sure that being able to go on a weekday and hubby working earlier hours (so that he is home around 4 instead of after 5) helped bunches. Both kiddos ran to see Santa. J jumped right up on Santa's lap while B readily climbed up in the chair. Seriously, this is something of a Christmas miracle! Even last year, J would only stand sorta close. And this was usually accomplished by reminding her that she is a big sister and that she only had to stand NEXT to Santa for just a quick minute. One quick picture so that everyone could see what a big girl she was. So this year when she wanted to have her picture all by herself and asked to go again.... Of course we let her! (these pics apparently are still on the camera. I will add them later)
