It's a doggy dog world

This is the other member of the household. The rarely mentioned, but ever-present Duchess. She is actually the oldest "child," at almost 8yrs old. She has gotten a few gray whiskers, but that is the only sign of her age. She still has a "yip" in her bark and is always up for a game of fetch or tug-o-war.

with the new basketball
ran to get it, but wouldn't pick it up
promptly ripping the squeakers out of this one,
loves the rope now
This is the beloved toy. This used to be a basketball. At least 5 years she played with this thing before we finally trashed it. I think she was really sad. It took a few days before she would play with the new ball. (see above pics)

Brandon Flashback 2004

Here is tipping the scales at 9lbs, 15oz and 22 inches sweet boy
meet your big sister jess
going home on 5/23/04
(Aunt Sandy's birthday)

My how you have grown!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON!!

Today is my sweet boy's birthday! It is so hard to believe that he could already be turning 4 years old! That old saying about how time flies and they grow up so fast, it is true. I could not possibly love this rough and tumble, wild and crazy, boy's boy but with a heart of gold any more! For all the times that he drives me crazy, it couldn't get any sweeter than when he throws his arms around me for a "big, big, BIG" bear hug and lots of kisses.

Your Momma and Daddy love you SO much! We can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

Random Pictures

Catch the rainbow... More flowers, this time for the back yard.
Mini marshmallow toasting.
Yes, we did give them some big ones.
Ahhh...

More catching up to do later...

Happy Birthday Alex

I'm only two weeks behind in posting, but we were actually there to celebrate.
Happy (belated) Birthday!

I love this picture of these two!
Peas in a pod they were, from the time of being "itty-bitties." I must get a picture from when they were babies to go with this one.

Did I mention that I love this one?!

Not to be outdone, I had to include a picture of Brandon.
Dancing with the dog, he said.
